Laboratories
SNVC school has laboratories that are equipped with the latest and most modern facilities. Each year, some old labs are renovated and new equipment added while other new ones are added to the school infrastructure, all in a continuous drive to keep SNVC in the fore-front of new and emerging technologies in every single field.
Keeping in tune with modern times, SNVC ensures that practical knowledge is placed on an equal footing with theoretical knowledge for the all-round development of the students.
For this purpose, the school has laboratories in numerous disciplines, which provide in-depth knowledge to its pupils. The student-friendly atmosphere in these laboratories helps to enrich the overall personality of the students through motivation and reinforcement.
Chemistry Lab

Chemistry laboratory is well equipped. The lab has facilities for heating, refluxing, weighing, washing and filtration. The labs are big and airy and can comfortably take in large batches of students.
The School has wonderfully equipped lab facilities in all subjects to aid the child to develop the research skills, experimentation expertise and a thorough understanding of the subjects, much below the veneer and facilitates true learning.
Biology Lab
We let our students explore and walk that extra mile not in someone else’s shoes but in their very own. Our students explore and discover in the laboratories. The biology lab provides requisite hands-on experience which is the heart of science teaching. Science teachers along with the lab assistant plan various demonstrations and experiments to ignite the curiosity and inculcate a scientific temperament in the students.
Physics Lab
Physics laboratory is equipped with modern equipment’s to carry out a wide range of experiments in almost all branches of Physics. The students enjoy working in the lab because they learn new concepts by performing these experiments. The physics lab is fully equipped with all necessary tools for hands on learning.
Computer Lab
The contemporary computer centre is the cynosure of Mount Zion. We have full-fledged computer lab with ample number of computers and other allied facilities. Our dedicated and trained professionals guide the students through practical applications of computer science with the help of learning tools.
Our computer centre helps students to develop a deeper understanding of technology and its working in every child. We ensure that basic knowledge of computer is given to a child right from kindergarten level. We have a computer lab of latest hardware and software, giving them the infrastructure to test and enhance their computer skills. As a unique identity, we have high speed internet connection service for 24 hrs for the students.
Mathematics Lab
The Maths lab eases the process of understanding a complex subject with Pictorial Visual aids to enhance learning and memory. Mathematics, a dreaded subject among most students comes alive here and students learn it with great interest. The concepts of 2D and 3D shapes are made clear through live demonstrations and models. Formulas and theories become extremely lucid when they make models of cylinders, cuboids, cubes, cones, spheres etc.
Mathematical concepts are also taught to them through charts prepared by the students themselves. They even prepare rare calendars based on shapes which make the learning of mathematics so much fun. They make use of colour while learning the concept of symmetry. The school has Composite science labs for Physics, Chemistry & Biology complete with equipment and models required to conduct experiments.
Students conduct experiments under the supervision of teachers to learn the practical aspects of science. They are motivated to develop scientific inherence in them. Our teachers always expose students to various scientific phenomena in order that they understand their practical value in real life situations
Language Lab
The campus boasts of a language laboratory which provides an opportunity toinvolve students to actively participate in language learning exercises. It enables students to practice in an entertaining and interactive way to acquire the 4 main language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
Students are able to reinforce the material learned in class by putting them into practice through interactive activities in the lab. The basic purpose of the lab is to provide students a platform to enhance English language skills, communication skills and to practice soft skills. It provides students with the technical tools to get the best samples of pronunciation of the language. The electronic devices used in the laboratory will stimulate the eyes and ears of the learner to acquire the language quickly and easily.
- Teacher has a computer with appropriate language lab software for conducting language exercises.
- Teacher and students wear language learning headsets that block outside sounds and disturbances. -
Students have a media player/recorder or student software for listening to the audio and the recorded speech
